I have released BonkEnc v1.0 beta 2 today! This version introduces support for the freedb protocol version 6 which brings Unicode support to freedb! BonkEnc appears to be the first ripper to support
the new freedb protocol version! |

The Winamp 2 Bonk plug-in has been updated to version 0.9.1. The new release fixes a bug with Winamp vis stuff, so the plug-in should work for everyone now. |

Sirakaba has submitted a Japanese translation for BonkEnc! You can download it from the new 'Translation status' page. The file works with the 20030920 CVS snapshot of BonkEnc. The Hungarian translation has also been updated to work with that release. |

A new CVS snapshot is available. The 20030920 release includes support for right-to-left scripts and file naming patterns. Right-to-left support is not fully functional, yet, but you can already use it for translating BonkEnc to right-to-left script languages. |
